Bebe Rexha
Bleta "Bebe" Rexha was born on 30 August 1989 at Brooklyn, New York City, New York and raised in Staten Island, New York City, New York to Bukurije Rexha (nee Isai) & Flamur Rexha. Her dad immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 21. The Albanian word blete is "bee". She stated, "My Albanian parents started calling me Bebe." Rexha wrote lyrics to Nick Jonas's "Selena Gomez" as well as the Eminem and Rihanna single The Monster (which won a Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap/Sung Performance). Also, she wrote songs for Selena Gomez & Nick Jonas. Rexha has released her debut single I Don't Want to be a grown-up in 2015 and saw moderate commercial success when she released the song "I'm Going to Show You I'm Crazy".
