Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American singer/actress whose range has gained her recognition across a range of genres - from thrillers and adventure films to period dramas. Johansson is the daughter of an architect and a producer was brought up in New York City. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting and began auditioning commercials at the age of seven. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after and was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film on screen in North (1994), directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was next seen on screen in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut in the film Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans, who manage to escape. Next, she received high praise from critics for her performance as an teen girl who suffered an accident that caused her to be damaged as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the outcast cynical Rebecca. She was a prize-winning actress and one of the leading cast members on the series. She's an excellent stage actor. She has given a variety of stunning performances including Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment at a young age. At the age of a young girl, she discovered her passion for performing. Smith's parents helped her with getting her first role in the acting world in the age of six. She created a commercial with Dannon. Similar to many actors starting out, she decided to perfect her craft in the world of theatre. She also worked in other initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first stage show. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
